UP Announces Schedule for UPCAT for A.Y. 2019
UPCAT – The University of the Philippines (UP) recently announced the schedule for the college admission test or UPCAT for the school year 2019.
Lots of students who are done with their secondary education, junior and senior high school, are looking forward to taking their tertiary education at University of the Philippines. It has several campuses around the country.
Just like the other colleges and universities around the country, UP also administers a college admission test which is called UPCAT. In 2017, more than one hundred thousand people applied to take the test.
Recently, on its Twitter account, the University of the Philippines posted an announcement about the UPCAT for the academic year 2019.
Based on the post on UP’s Twitter page, the UPCAT for the A.Y. 2019 will be held on September 15 and 16, 2018 nationwide.
According to a report on GMA News Online, the UP Office of Admissions will start receiving applications from July 16 until August 10, 2018.
The deadline for filing of applications in Metro Manila private schools is on July 27, 2018. For the Metro Manila public schools, the last day for the filing of applications is on August 3, 2018.
Based on the report, for the regional private and public schools, the filing of applications will be until August 10, 2018.
With regards to the applications filed after August 10, reportedly, it will only be processed if there are still available test permits.

Hi sir! I have already mailed all the requirements needed for the application but sadly I think it did not arrive at the day of the deadline. I mailed it on Wednesday Aug. 8,2018 but the LBC told me that its propably be there on Saturday, Aug 11,2018. I came from Mindanao Region 9. But they have also said that it can possibly be delivered on Friday, Aug.10,2018. I received a text from LBC on the night of the deadline that they already successfully mailed it but I don’t know how to confirm if my application is being processed or not. And also praying and hoping if there are still available test permit if ever that my application has been sent on saturday.
