Grace Poe Leads “Magic 12” of Pulse Asia’s Survey

PULSE ASIA – The Pulse Asia recently released the result of the survey conducted in line with the 2019 senatorial race.

The 2019 senatorial election will be held several months away from now but names of the people who will possibly run for a seat in the Senate are already crossing the surface.

Based on a report, the Liberal Party are coming up with a “resistance slate”. They are eyeing Atty. Jose Manuel ‘Chel’ Diokno, actress Agot Isidro, and Sen. Paolo Benigno “Bam” Aquino to be part of the slate.

According to Senator Francis ‘Kiko’ Pangilinan, they are also considering LP internal affairs Vice President Lorenzo ‘Erin’ Tañada III, Magdalo Representative Gary Alejano, and former Akbayan Representative Barry Gutierrez to be part of the “resistance slate”.

Meanwhile, none of the six people has yet to confirm if they will join the “resistance slate” that will be formed.

Recently, Pulse Asia conducted a survey in the 2019 senatorial race. Based on a report on ABS-CBN news, the survey was conducted from June 15 until June 21. The result of the survey was recently released with Sen. Grace Poe leading the ‘Magic 12’.

Sen. Poe topped the list with 67.4% of the respondents saying they will vote for her. She is followed by Sen. Pia Cayetano in the list with 55.7% of the respondents saying they will vote for her.

The other people who are part of Pulse Asia’s “Magic 12” are Sen. Cynthia Villar, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, Sen. Sonny Angara, former Sen. Jinggoy Estrada, Philippine National Police chief Ronald dela Rosa, Sen. Koko Pimentel, Sen. Nancy Binay, former Sen. Serge Osmeña, former Sen. Lito Lapid, Sen. JV Ejercito, and Sen. Bam Aquino.
