New Modus Operandi Called “Kunwari Nadulas” Exposed

A new modus operandi called “Kunwari Nadulas” modus used by thieves to scam and steal valuables from their victims was caught on camera.

Nowadays, robbery is one of the most common types of crimes not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world.

The rate of robbery in the country continued to increase despite the government’s effort to reduce the case of criminality in the Philippines.

New Modus Operandi

Recently, the Facebook page “GMA News” has uploaded the video footage revealing the new modus operandi called “Kunwari Nadulas” used by thieves to steal the money or valuables from their victims.

In the video, it can be seen that a woman wearing pink shirt pretends that slipped on the floor catching the attention of the victim (Blue Sleeveless).

Another man suddenly grabbed the bag of the victim who was currently curious about the woman pretending to be injured.

New Modus Operandi

After a few moments, the victim can’t find her bag anymore and learned that it was already robbed.

The authorities have also advised the public to be always vigilant and alert to their surroundings to avoid being a victim of this modus.

“Sa isang mall sa Quezon City, nanakawan ang isang babae ng bag habang nasa isang kainan. Ang modus, kunwari may nadulas upang agawin ang atensiyon ng biktima. Saka naman umatake ang kasabwat ng suspek upang nakawin ang bag nito. 
Ayon sa kaibigan ng biktima, nangyari ito noong Mayo 2018 at aabot sa P100,000 ang halaga ng mga nawalang gamit. Naipa-blotter na nila ito sa mga otoridad. Ibinahagi nila ito upang magbigay ng babala sa publiko.”
