ConCom Decides on Draft of Proposed Charter
CONCOM – The Consultative Committee (ConCom) has decided on the draft of the proposed charter that allows the shifting of the form of government in the Philippines.
One of the campaign promises of Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte is the shifting of the form of government of the Philippines from democratic to federal. Recently, a news related to the possibility of shifting the government form in PH crossed the surface.
Based on a recent report in CNN, the Consultative Committee or the ConCom which is in charge to review the Constitution approved the draft of the proposed charter that allows that changing of government form to federal.
According to the report, the members of the committee came up with a unanimous approval of the draft. On July 23, the said draft would be submitted to Pres. Duterte.
