Ombudsman Finds ‘Probable Cause’ To Charge Former DOTC Sec. Abaya, 16 Others
Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales found a ground to charge former Department of Transportation and Communications Secretary (DOTC) Joseph Emilio Abaya and 16 others over the MRT3 maintenance contract.
Recently, on social media, ABS-CBN reporter Adrian Ayalin took a photo of the news release stating that the Ombudsman Morales found “probable cause” to charge ex-DOTC Sec. Abaya and 16 other people for graft over the MRT maintenance contract.
Abaya was the DOTC Secretary under the term of former President Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III. Below is the press release stating the names of other people who are facing charges for violation of Section 3(e) of Republic Act No. 3019 posted by Ayalin.
