Grab Driver Asks Passenger To Pay Double Due To Heavy Traffic
A Grab driver asked its passenger to pay double than the actual fare because of the heavy traffic in the area.
Nowadays, we can usually read and see reports regarding abusive public utility vehicle driver charging their passengers with the unreasonable fare.
Many customers were also expressing their disappointments towards the abusive drivers with ride-hailing service Grab.
Recently, a Twitter user named “@mayalayug (Mae Layug)” has posted the screenshot of her conversation with a Grab driver.
In the photos, it can be seen that the driver was asking her to double the fare due to heavy traffic in the area. The driver explained that it’s a loss if they will follow the base fare given by Grab.
Layug also called the attention of “GrabPH” and asked the ride-hailing service company if they are aware that their drivers are having transaction outside of the system booking.
Grab Philippines has also responded to Layug’s complaints and assured that the company would not tolerate such behavior and promised to punish abusive drivers.
