The country’s top tourist’s destination Boracay Island has been one of the most controversial topics over the past few months after President Rodrigo Duterte ordered to close the famous haven.
On April 26, 2018, Boracay has been officially closed to the tourists to allow the government to restore and rehabilitate the island since it was already polluted.
The Duterte administration closed the popular tourist’s spot from the tourists for six months to let the island heal itself.
Recently, a Facebook user named “Sinoda Adns” has uploaded a photo of Boracay Island a few weeks of rehabilitation based on the caption.
“Boracay now… Under President Duterte! Change is real!”, the netizen wrote on the caption.
