Regine Velasquez Admits Struggle in Leaving the Country without her Family
REGINE VELASQUEZ – Philippines’ Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez revealed that she won’t be home for the Father’s Day celebration which will be held on Sunday, June 17.
Regine Velasquez is now married to her fellow Filipino singer Ogie Alcasid. Both of them are known personalities not only in the field of singing but as well as in acting. They have starred in several acting projects before.
It is no secret to the public that Ogie was previously married to Michelle van Eimeren and they have two daughters based on a report. Meanwhile, although they are no longer a couple now, they were able to keep their friendship.
Ogie Alcasid’s ex-wife and Regine Velasquez are also good friends. The singer couple now has a son named Nathaniel or more commonly known as ‘Nate’.
Regine Velasquez and her husband and son have a good relationship with Michelle van Eimeren, her two daughters, and her current partner. They even go on trips together and are visibly close to each other.
Now that she has a son and a husband, the Asia’s Songbird finds it hard to leave the country for shows abroad without her family. That is what the singer-actress admitted at the press conference of the 3 Stars and 1 Heart concert which will be held in Dubai based on a report in Pep.
According to Regine Velasquez, it’s harder for her to travel now as she has a son and a husband. Meanwhile, her love for what she is doing makes her forget that it is hard to go without her family.

The singer’s upcoming concert will be held in Dubai World Trade Center on June 16. Based on the report, when she found out that the Father’s Day will be on June 17, Regine Velasquez made a sad gesture as she expressed that she won’t be home on that special day.
Meanwhile, she expressed that she will just buy a gift for Ogie Alcasid.
“90 percent off daw, e. Brief. Bibilhan ko siya ng brief, puwede na yun,” she said.
Regine Velasquez will be with Christian Bautista and Julie Ann San Jose in the upcoming concert. The actress-singer is set to fly to Dubai today.
