Why does Tony Labrusca not call his biological father Boom ‘dad’?
TONY LABRUSCA – La Luna Sangre actor Tony Labrusca revealed the reason why he does not call his actor biological father Boom Labrusca ‘dad’.
Actor Boom Labrusca who is now married to actress Desiree del Valle has a son with Angel Jones. Based on a report, their son is young Kapamilya actor Tony Labrusca who was part of the ABS-CBN primetime television series La Luna Sangre.
It is no secret to the public that Tony grew up abroad together with his mother and his stepfather. His stepfather has stood as his dad for several years now and he has visibly high respect towards him.
Meanwhile, Tony Labrusca is visibly in good terms with his biological father Boom Labrusca. As per a report, he even supports the marriage of his biological father with actress Desiree del Valle. The two celebrities officially tied the knot in the United States in January 2018.
However, based on a report in Bandera, Tony Labrusca does not his biological father Boom Labrusca ‘Dad’ yet. According to the young Kapamilya actor, their relationship now is more on brotherly. He stressed that he also does not call Boom by his first name.
“Basta I just think that there’s a man who raised me and it’s very disrespectful to just give away the name dad to somebody who’s with me the whole time and to just give to somebody who just came into my life now, I don’t know,” he said.
According to the young Kapamilya actor, he wants to respect everyone. He stressed that he calls his stepfather ‘dad because he was around’.
Meanwhile, based on the report, Tony Labrusca emphasized that he loves both of his fathers and acknowledged that he would not be here if not because of either of them. He revealed that he wants to celebrate the upcoming Father’s Day with both his fathers but not at the same time.
“I’m always gonna have a high respect for them,” he said.
