A disappointed netizen has shared on what he found inside the newly opened can of a popular corned beef brand.
Nowadays, canned goods are the most popular food products not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world.
Canned goods such as beef loaf, luncheon meat, sardines, sausage, pork & beans, and corned beef are the most purchased food products on the market.
Unfortunately, some consumers took their complaints on the social media after purchasing contaminated canned goods.
Recently, a Facebook user named Kenet Ochoa has posted the photo of a popular corned beef brand “Argentina” containing worms inside the can.
In the photos, it can be seen that the corned beef contains worms inside the can although its expiration date is on March 07, 2021.
Ochoa said that he already message the company to report the incident but he received no response from the management.
“babala sa mahilig sa argentina cornbeef lalo na baka maipakain pa sa mga bata. magluluto dapat ako ng ulam kaya kumuha ako sa tindahan namin ng dalawang lata ng argentina cornbeef. pag bukas ko ng isang lata nakita ko parang iba ata ng tignan ko mabuti may mga gumagalaw mga uod na maliliit na puti chineck ko ang expiration date malinaw naman na march 07 2021 pa ang expired pero bakit puro uod na , mabuti na lang at napansin agad kaya nkakatakot din pala kumain ng ganito na akala natin safe. nag try ako tumawag saknila para i complain at nag message sa fb page nila pero wala silang feedback regarding dto sa produkto nila. kaya double chek nyo na lang palgi kung sakaling mahilig kayo sa argentina cornbeef . pa share na lng po para aware yung iba.. na hindi pla safe ito.”
