Pinay Actress Agot Isidro Posts Controversial Independence Day Message
The Filipina actress Agot Isidro has posted a controversial Independence Day message on Twitter and garnered various reactions online.
On Tuesday (June 12, 2018), the Filipino people celebrated “Araw ng Kalayaan” (Independence Day) commemorating the independence of the Philippines from Spain.
Various government and private sectors nationwide conducted different programs and events to celebrate the “Day of Freedom”.
However, Agot Isidro, a Pinay actress has expressed her opinion regarding of what she thinks on Independence Day.
The 51-year-old actress has cited different tragedies and criminalities happening in the country questioning how can people celebrates the “Independence Day” despite those events.

“Independence Day. Tell that to priests who’ve been shot just b4 attending to their flock. To fisherfolks whose daily catch are robbed. To everyday people whose cases are tried in d streets, never seeing a day in court. “Happy” Independence Day? I don’t think so.”
