Is Piolo Pascual considering the thought of temporarily leaving his showbiz career?
PIOLO PASCUAL – Since I Found You actor Piolo Pascual was asked if he will also take an “indefinite leave” from showbiz just like Kapamilya actor John Lloyd Cruz.
Kapamilya actors Piolo Pascual and John Lloyd Cruz are batchmates in the Philippine showbiz industry. Based on a report, the former previously expressed that he considers the latter as a friend and a family.
Piolo joined the casts of the ABS-CBN situational comedy show Home Sweetie Home when John Lloyd decided to take an ‘indefinite leave’ from his showbiz career. The Tabing Ilog actor top-bills the sitcom together with actress-singer Toni Gonzaga.
John Lloyd Cruz and Toni Gonzaga play the roles of Romeo and Julie in the sitcom respectively. Piolo Pascual plays the role of JP, the cousin of Romeo.
Toni Gonzaga’s character previously expressed ‘so long’ to the character of John Lloyd Cruz. It ignited the speculations that Lloydie may not anymore return to the show.
Meanwhile, Piolo Pascual has previously clarified that he is not replacing John Lloyd Cruz in the said show. He expressed that he cannot take it away from him and he accepted the offer as he will be working with another friend, Toni.
John Lloyd has yet to return to his showbiz career until now. He is often spotted with actress Ellen Adarna and the celebrity couple is rumored to become parents soon.
Based on a recent report in Pep, at the press conference of his new endorsement, Piolo Pascual was asked if he will also take an indefinite leave from showbiz just like what John Lloyd Cruz did.
“Hindi naman, hindi naman. I love what I do and I’m thankful,” the Kapamilya actor said.
Based on the report, Piolo also clarified at the event that John Lloyd is irreplaceable. According to him, “Lloydie will always be Lloydie.”
Currently, Piolo Pascual is busy with his projects as he is part of three shows – the Since I Found You which airs from Monday to Friday, the Home Sweetie Home which airs every Saturday, and ASAP which airs every Sunday.
