Kathy Dupaya Hurt Over Sunshine Cruz’s Move
KATHY DUPAYA – Businesswoman Kathelyn ‘Kathy’ Dupaya broke her silence on the money allegations she is facing right now.
Recently, the name of businesswoman Kathy Dupaya is on news reports after several celebrities accuse her of not returning the money that they have invested. She is a businesswoman who is based in Brunei.
Based on a report, among those who complained is ‘King of Scents’ Joel Cruz, the owner of the Aficionado perfume company, and Kapuso actress Sunshine Cruz. Ynez Veneracion has also previously expressed complaint about the alleged ‘investment scam’.
Reportedly, around 40 million pesos was allegedly not returned by Kathy Dupaya to the owner of one of the prominent perfume companies in the Philippines.
Recently, Kathy Dupaya broke her silence on the allegations of several celebrities against her. Based on a recent report in Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub (PUSH), citing the report of Mario Dumaual of ABS-CBN, the Brunei-based businesswoman felt hurt over the move of Sunshine Cruz.
According to Kathy, the most painful for her is on the part of the Kapuso actress as she is her ‘BFF’ whom she sees daily. She claimed that she never expected that she will be against her despite everything.
“Noong walang wala siya, ako po ang ka-text niya. Dinala ko siya sa Europe, dinala ko siya sa Singapore, balik-balik sa Brunei. Lahat ng luho niya, shopping niya, lahat! Kahit sinong kaibigan niya walang gagawa sa kaniya niyan,” the businesswoman said.
Based on the report, Kathy Dupaya further said that she expected Ynez Veneracion to speak against her but never Sunshine Cruz. She also claimed that the Kapuso actress was able to gain P5 million over their business.
Reportedly, Sunshine Cruz, Joel Cruz, and Ynez Veneracion have recently met to discuss the legal action that they might take over the issue.
