Pokwang Takes To Twitter an Intriguing Statement
POKWANG – Kapamilya comedienne Pokwang took to the social media an intriguing statement.
One of the prominent actress-comediennes in the Philippine showbiz industry is Pokwang or Mariette Subong in real life. She is one of those who have managed to remain in showbiz for several years already. She has done lots of projects under the ABS-CBN network.
The actress-comedienne’s partner now is American actor Lee O’Brian based on a report. The two celebrities previously worked together on the film Edsa Woolworth.
Lee O’Brian and Pokwang now have a beautiful daughter named Malia Francine. She is the second daughter of the actress-comedienne next to her daughter Ria Mae Subong.
Pokwang became inactive in showbiz when she was pregnant with her baby with Lee O’Brian. Many of her fans and supporters were excited to see their baby girl and as well as for the return of the actress-comedienne in the industry.
Since her showbiz hiatus because of her pregnancy, the first appearance of the actress-comedienne on the Philippine television was in the Mother’s Day episode of the Maalaala Mo Kaya, a drama anthology of the Kapamilya network.
Many are expecting the return of Pokwang in showbiz. However, recently, on her Twitter account, the actress-comedienne posted an intriguing statement that seems to be related to her getting back to work.
In her social media post, the wife of the American actor stated that she just wanted to work in a dignified way. According to her, she just wanted to go back to work for her children. The actress-comedienne then raised a question stressing that it seems someone is hindering her return to work.
