Lara Montales, Young Filipina Student Graduates As Summa Cum Laude From UPenn’s Wharton School

A young Filipina student has graduated summa cum laude from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in the U.S.

Lara Montales is now making headlines after graduating as summa cum laude at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

The Pinay graduate earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics, majoring in finance and business analytics after working hard for it for four years.

The 21-year-old summa cum laude started her college at Wharton in 2014 after finishing her high school at the Philippine Science High School Main Campus.

It was not the first time that Montales earned a great achievement, in fact, she graduated elementary as batch valedictorian ay the Colegio San Agustin-Makati.

She also received high honors from high school and won math contest in the international arena.

Montales will work in a consulting company in Chicago, but not before coming back to the country for a short vacation.

The young lady also posted her photo on Facebook with a caption of:

So thankful for the love that I have given and received at this school, for the friends I have met and the families I have found, and for the home I have made. Until next time, Penn <3”
