Paul Salas Reveals More Details Over Network Transfer
PAUL SALAS – Kapamilya-turned-Kapuso actor Paul Salas revealed details about his stay and exit from his former home network ABS-CBN.
One of the Kapamilya actors who recently moved to GMA-7 is actor Paul Salas. Based on a report, he has worked with the ABS-CBN network for nine years and is linked to Kapamilya actress Barbie Imperial.
However, previously, there were rumors that the two celebrities have broken up. The actress is currently busy working on a television series My Precious Hearts Romances: Araw Gabi alongside with returning Kapamilya actor JM de Guzman.
Paul Salas is one of the celebrities who entered the showbiz at a very young age. He was just five years old when he joined the Kapuso reality talent search competition StarStruck Kids in 2004.
Based on a recent report in Pep, it was in 2008 when Paul Salas made one of the biggest decisions on his showbiz career – he left GMA-7 and transferred to ABS-CBN network. For more than nine years, he was a Kapamilya actor.
Speaking to Pep at the office of the PPL Entertainment, Inc., the young actor clarified that he has no hard feelings towards his former home network that is why he left it. He stressed that acting is really his passion and he wanted to try portraying different roles.
“Wala naman po akong tampo. Passion ko po talaga ang pag-acting… Kaso, medyo nagkulang lang dun sa ABS dahil hindi rin ako naka-teleserye ng ilang years. Pero masaya ako dahil nagge-guesting din ako sa MMK nila,” he said.
Meanwhile, based on the report, Paul Salas expressed that he has a “graceful exit” from the Kapamilya network and he properly talked to the Star Magic about his decision. According to the actor, it took him a year to decide over his network transfer.
“Nagpaalam naman ako ng maayos. Kasi, parang naging bahay ko na rin yun. Doon ako lumaki sa ABS,” he said.
Now that he is back to the Kapuso network, reportedly, Paul Salas is open to any kind of role that will be given to him. He is also willing to push through his loveteam with Kapuso actress Mika dela Cruz who was also a former Kapamilya.
