Saab Magalona’s Husband Jim Bacarro Shares His Path To Becoming A Father
JIM BACARRO – Saab Magalona’s husband Jim Bacarro revealed his unconventional journey to fatherhood.
Saab Magalona and Jim Bacarro were previously expecting a set of twins – a baby boy and a baby girl. The former is the daughter of the late rapper Francis Magalona with wife Pia Magalona. She is the sisters of Maxene and Elmo Magalona who are in the showbiz industry.
However, unexpected things happened and the couple lost their baby daughter. They named her Luna Isabel. Their baby boy who was named Pancho Gerardo went through a lot as he fought for his life. He even had to undergo a surgery.
Baby Pancho is set to undergo another surgery today for the removal of a silicone catheter placed under his scalp according to the report. His mom has posted a photo of him on social media and shared details about the surgery through the post.
Saab Magalona asked for prayers for her son and for Baby Pancho’s doctors. Her husband, Jim Bacarro, has also posted photos of the baby boy on his social media account. Along with the photos is a heartfelt statement revealing his unconventional path to becoming a father.
According to Jim, to say the least, his journey to fatherhood is not the most conventional. They were in the hospital for more than two months and he did not have the time to grieve over the loss of his baby daughter as his wife and baby son are both in the intensive care units.
“I would go between 2 ICUs to see Saab and Pancho. It was a series of tests and “today this is the problem, and we’re not sure what it is, and not sure what to do.” No answers and no proposed solutions.”
In his post, Saab Magalona’s husband stated that it was his wife and son who gave him hope everytime he sees them whenever he enters their room. Meanwhile, he admitted that it was beyond their capacity as humans to deal with the situation and he questioned about the presence of God.
“I found him there—that somehow Saab and I could manage to kiss each other, smile at each other and comfort one another amidst this. I see him through Pancho.”
Jim also mentioned that he saw God in their parents, siblings, friends, doctors, and nurses who were there for them, wept and prayed with them. He also stated that he found the Almighty in forgiving those may have caused what they had to go through.
“I learned what it meant to be a father the moment I held my daughter, and had to let her go. It’s not your typical story of parenthood, but Saab and I are beyond convention and that’s our story.”
Messages of love, prayer, and support flooded the social media post of Saab Magalona’s husband. Many people are looking forward to the full recovery of Baby Pancho.
