8 Wack Wack Condominium Receives Online Criticisms Over Discrimination
8 Wack Wack Road Condominium Association Inc. received online criticisms for allegedly discriminating household helpers and delivery personnel.
Nowadays, discrimination has been one of the major concern of various human rights group and government not only in the Philippines but also in various regions across the globe.
Recently, the Facebook page “Thinking Pinoy” has lambasted the 8 Wack Wack Road Condominium Association Inc. located at Greenhills East in Mandaluyong City over alleged discrimination.
The condominium’s “House Rule 11.6’” prohibits the household helpers, drivers, nannies, and delivery personnel to use the building’s elevator.
Instead, the personnel mentioned above were instructed to use the service elevator. Anyone who will be caught violating the house rules will be fined, according to the management.

“Dear 8 Wack Wack Road Condominium Association Inc.,
Lahat po tayo ay pantay-pantay. Hindi po tama ang ganitong mga patakaran na nag-didiscriminate sa ibang tao.
Kung ayaw po ng nga mga residente na nakakahalubilo ang mga Yaya, driver, at delivery personnel, mas tama po sigurong magpraktis na lang silang mabuhay nang hindi nangangailangan ng mga serbisyo ng mga ganoong tao.
Kasi po, tulad ng pasahod, mahalaga rin po para sa tao ang mabuhay ng may dignidad. Sa kasamaang-palad, nagiging mahirap po iyong nakamit dahil sa mga patakarang tulad nito.
Mali po ito. Itigil niyo ito.

Maynne Millares: “Mga putang ina, ano to. Wala na tayo sa panahon ng kastila na merong elitistang ilustrales at mga indio na tinuturing nilang alipin.”
Kareen Halford: “Dapat wag din pagamit hagdan pag Emergency kasi pang mahirap lang di ba?! Let those matapobre jump the Building to get out! Nasa mga unit owner or renter yan pag ako, sige wag niyo paakyatin driver at katulong ko ibigay niyo na rin rent at deposit ko to move out of there. Never in my entire life that we treat helper and driver like that because they are family never the less.”
Sandra Salazar: “Maiintindihan ko yung delivery personel,minsan bulky ang mga dala nila at mas mabilis ang service elevator kasi hindi to laging hhinto sa iba’t ibang floor.
…Pero yaya,kasambahay at driver!? Nakng tokwa naman, nung magsabog ng sama ng ugali sinalo nyo na lahat wakwakers”
Bo Jay Rivas: “Service elevators are used for moving large objects like furniture and garbage so as not to bother people.
Hindi naman kagamitan at basura ang mga Kasambahay, Driver, Delivery Person etc. they are people with jobs, this is just plain discrimination.
Huwag makitid ang isip.”
Eman Domingo: “Reklamo ng reklamo na minamaltrato mga Pinoy sa ibang bansa ito malinaw na pagyurak sa pagkatao ng mga kawawa nating kababayan sa Pilipinas mismo! Mga matapobreng akala mo mga makadiyos pero ugaling hayop na mga mayayaman!”
