Government Employees’ Mid-Year Bonuses Set To Release Starting May 15

The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) announced that the mid-year bonuses of the government employees are set to be released starting May 15.

On Wednesday (May 09, 2018), DBM announced the good news to all government employees regarding their mid-year bonuses.

The budget department explained that the employees who rendered at least four months of service from July 1, 2017, to May 15, 2018, are entitled to a mid-year bonus.

Employees that are still serving the government as of May 15, 2018, and to those who have at least satisfactory performance rating would also receive bonuses.

The agency has allocated an amount of P36.2 billion for the mid-year bonuses of the deserving government employees, according to DBM.

The agency said that the funding requirement for this year’s mid-year bonus “has been comprehensively released to the agencies through the GAA as Allotment Order policy, pursuant to National Budget Circular No. 567 dated January 3, 2017,” DBM said quoted by Inquirer.
