Home Sweetie Home Continues Amid John Lloyd Cruz’s Absence
JOHN LLOYD CRUZ – Is Kapamilya actor John Lloyd Cruz not returning to ABS-CBN situational comedy show Home Sweetie Home which he stars together with actress-singer Toni Gonzaga anymore?
When John Lloyd Cruz decided to take an “indefinite leave” from showbiz, he has an ongoing show with Toni Gonzaga. The Home Sweetie Home airs once a week and among the other actors and actresses who are part of the show are Sandy Andolong, Miles Ocampo, and Rico J. Puno.
Ellen Adarna, the girlfriend of the Kapamilya actor, was also a part of the Kapamilya show. Based on a report, when Lloydie left the show for a temporary break, actor Piolo Pascual joined the cast.
The actor-singer expressed that he accepted it as he will be working with Toni Gonzaga. He stressed that it is still John Lloyd Cruz’s show and he cannot take it from him.
John Lloyd Cruz has yet to return to his showbiz career. Meanwhile, his Home Sweetie Home co-star Toni Gonzaga has previously expressed her openness to working with him again and to what might happen.
John Lloyd and Ellen’s relationship are still surrounded by issues until now. The actress was previously rumored to be pregnant with her eldest with the Kapamilya actor. The two celebrities have yet to confirm or deny the rumors.
With regards to the running of the Home Sweetie Home, based on a recent report in ABS-CBN News, the latest episode of the sitcom showed Julie (Toni Gonzaga) talking to JP (Piolo Pascual) about her plan regarding her marriage with Romeo (John Lloyd Cruz).
Julie wanted her marriage with Romeo to be annulled following her husband’s statement giving her the freedom to decide on what will happen to their relationship. He’s in abroad and it is reportedly implied that he has cheated on his wife with another woman.
Based on the report, JP is the cousin of Romeo in Home Sweetie Home. The Kapamilya show is airing episodes for four years now. Previously, Toni Gonzaga revealed that they are writing a new chapter in the life of her character and it may or may not involve the character of John Lloyd Cruz.
