Magnitude 3.0 Earthquake Jolts Agusan Del Norte, Phivolcs Says

The volcanology agency Phivolcs announced that the province of Agusan Del Norte has been struck by a magnitude 3.0 earthquake.

On Friday (May 04, 2018), the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported that a magnitude 3.0 earthquake jolts Agusan del Norte.

Phivolcs said that the tremor was located two kilometers southeast of Kitcharao, Agusan del Norte.

The earthquake has a depth of 15 kilometers and tectonic in origin, according to the seismology agency.

The seismology agency said that as of now, there are no damages has been recorded yet.

Phivolcs also explained that there are no aftershocks or tsunami wave are expected.
