Senator Grace Poe Tops Pulse Asia Survey On Senatorial Race 2019

Senator Grace Poe topped the 2019 senatorial race, according to the result of the nationwide survey conducted by Pulse Asia.

Pulse Asia has conducted a nationwide survey to found out who were the politicians have a statistical chance to win in 2019 elections.

58 names were included in the survey, wherein 15 of them whom 11 are former or incumbent lawmakers have a bigger chance of winning a seat.

Pulse Asia use a face-to-face interview with over 1, 200 adults nationwide and asked to choose 12 among the options. The survey was held last March 23-28, 2018.

The respondents were asked, “If the 2019 elections were held today, who among the following personalities you would vote for, assuming they would run for office?” 

The poll results show Senator Grace Poe topped the survey with 70.8 percent of votes followed by Cynthia Villar with 55. 6 percent (2nd) and Taguig City Rep. Pia Cayetano with 53.8 percent (3rd).

The result of the survey had a margin error of plus or minus 3 percent.

  • Former Sen. Serge Osmeña – 38 percent
  • News Host Erwin Tulfo – 36.7 percent
  • Former Sen. Lito Lapid – 33.8 percent
  • Former PNP Chief Ronald dela Rosa – 33.1 percent
  • Jinggoy Estrada – 32.8 percent
  • Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos – 32.2 percent
  • Bam Aquino – 30.5 percent
  • JV Ejercito – 29 percent
