Veteran Pinoy Ator Julio Diaz’ Mugshots After Arrested During Drug Buy-Bust Operation
Here are the mugshots of the Filipino actor Julio Diaz after he was arrested during a drug buy-bust operation in Meycauayan, Bulacan.
On Friday (April 20, 2018), the veteran Pinoy actor Mariano de Leon or popularly known as Julio Diaz got arrested after he was caught selling illegal drugs to a police asset.
Diaz was caught selling a sachet of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or known as ‘shabu’ for P500.
Senior Insp. Epamela Sarsaba a police spokesman said that Diaz and his driver were nabbed on his home at Barangay Langka, Meycauayan, Bulacan.
The 59-year-old actor was among the 50 people who were arrested in simultaneous raids in Bulacan after he was listed by the authorities as a “high-value target” and his colleague Ronald Gomez.
The authorities have recovered four sachets of suspected illegal substance amounting P60, 000, marked money, and assorted drug paraphernalia.
“Ako ay nahuli sa isang bisyo. Sa aking pagkakaintindi maaaring gumamit ako pero hindi ito isang bisyo na nilamon ako…ng droga,” Diaz said in an interview.
Meanwhile, the authorities were now preparing criminal charges against the veteran actor.
