Actresses Ehra Madrigal, Bianca Manalo Among Passengers Of Speedboat that Capsized in Antique
BIANCA MANALO – Actresses Bianca Manalo and Ehra Madrigal were among the passengers of the speedboat that capsized in Antique.
On Holy Thursday, Pandan town Mayor Jonathan Tan was supposed to bring his actress and beauty queen girlfriend Bianca Manalo and his friends including Ehra Madrigal to Mararison Island when an unexpected incident happened.
Based on a report in ABS-CBN News, the speedboat that the group was riding while they were on their way to an island in Culasi capsized. According to Pandan public relations officer Jesus Aguirre Dioso, it was around 10:50 in the morning when the speedboat capsized.
Dioso expressed that he was supposed to join the group of Mayor Tan, Bianca Manalo, and Ehra Madrigal and her husband but he chose to take the land trip to Culasi.
Based on the report, Jesus Dioso claimed that Mayor Jonathan Tan and Torebeo Barrentos swam for more than two hours towards the shoreline and it was around 1:45 in the afternoon when they arrived there.
“Fishermen saw them and helped them. Mayor Tan went onboard a pumpboat and went back to where the boat capsized and checked on the situation of his friends,” he said.
The boat accident that happened in Antique reportedly led to the death of Bennie Dable, 50 years old. According to the report, Dable is a bodyguard of Bianca Manalo’s politician boyfriend and he is also a relative of the Pandan Mayor.
Dable was reportedly the one who was driving the speedboat that capsized while on their way to an island. He was brought to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
According to Sebaste Police’s Officer-in-Charge Sr. Inspector Glen Jaromay, strong waves hit the boat while it’s on its way to an island leading it to capsized. He expressed that it was past 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon when the incident was reported to the police and a rescue operation was immediately launched.
Based on the report, Jesus Dioso expressed that the group of Mayor Jonathan Tan went back to Pandan with grief.
