Megastar Sharon Cuneta Sings for Pres. Duterte
SHARON CUNETA – Megastar Sharon Cuneta sang for President Rodrigo ‘Rody’ Duterte who will celebrate his birthday tomorrow, March 28.
Tomorrow is the natal day of Pres. Rodrigo Duterte. The 16th and current President of the Republic of the Philippines will be turning 73 years old tomorrow. Many people have already greeted him in advance.
One of those who have already made Pres. Duterte feel special even before the exact day of his birthday is Megastar Sharon Cuneta who sang a birthday song for him together with the press. Based on a report, the actress-singer’s father and the President are good friends.
In one of the videos posted on the Facebook account of ‘JP Mortel Fajura’, it could be seen that the Megastar was holding a cake with lighted candles as they were singing a birthday song for Pres. Duterte.

The dedication in the cake states, “happy birthday, mayor”. Many people are used to calling Pres. Duterte as ‘mayor’. He has served the city of Davao for more than two decades and his eldest daughter, Mayor Sara Duterte, is the one who is currently leading his hometown.
Another video posted on the said social media account shows Sharon Cuneta singing on stage with a pianist.

The social media post went viral on Facebook. As of the writing, it has already reached more than eight thousand shares on the online platform. In their comments to the post, lots of netizens also greeted Pres. Duterte a happy birthday.
Sharon Cuneta is the wife of Senator Francis ‘Kiko’ Pangilinan. Meanwhile, she has previously clarified that they are not taking the issues in the political arena personally. Aside from Pres. Duterte being good friends with the actress-singer’s father, Sharon and Mayor Sara Duterte are also friends.
The Megastar also previously revealed that Pres. Duterte is the ‘idol’ of her only brother, Chet Cuneta. They recently met with the President and the actress-singer was very happy for her brother who finally met his idol.
