Shopping Malls Adjust Operating Hours for Holy Week 2018’s Observance
HOLY WEEK 2018 – The Holy Week 2018 is approaching and lots of shopping malls have already adjusted their operating schedule for its observance.
The Holy Week 2018 will be observed starting this Sunday, March 25 – the Palm Sunday. The religious occasion will be going on until the first day of April which would be the Easter Sunday.
Based on a recent report in Inquirer, the days that were declared as Regular Holidays are March 29 and March 30 which falls on Thursday and Friday. March 31 has been reportedly declared as a Special Non-Working day.
In observance of the Holy Week 2018, lots of shopping malls have already adjusted their operating schedules.
According to the report, here are the operating schedules of the shopping malls for Holy Week 2018:
Closed on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday; Regular mall operating hours on Black Saturday and Easter Sunday:

- Ayala Malls The 30th

- Uptown Mall BGC

- Lucky Chinatown

- Lucia East Grand Mall
Closed on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday; Extended mall operating hours from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Black Saturday; Regular mall operating hours on Easter Sunday:

Closed on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday except for supermarket; Open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Black Saturday; and open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday:
- SM City Cebu
Extended mall hours from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Black Saturday; Regular mall operating hours on Easter Sunday:
- Harbor Point, Subic
Selected establishments in Bonifacio High Street are open on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. The regular operating hours will be observed on Black Saturday and Easter Sunday.
Regular mall operating schedule would be observed by Ayala Malls Solenad in Santa Rosa, Laguna from Maundy Thursday until Easter Sunday.
