Ely Buendia’s Performance During Concert Disappoints Dabawenyos
Dabawenyos were disappointed at Ely Buendia’s performance during the concert of his iconic band Eraserheads in Davao City.
The Filipino music icon Ely Buendia irked the Dabawenyos after performing on stage with a hoarse voice after allegedly losing his voice from another gig during the other night.
Davao City Councilor Al-Ryan Alejandre was also disappointed at the performance of the band vocalist he admires adding that he bought ticket few months ahead of the concert.
“I already had my tickets, VIP to say the least, in December last year. That’s how eager I was to secure a seat and him (Ely Buendia) just telling that he lost his voice because he had a gig the other night is unfair sa mga nagbayad,” Alejandre said quoted by Sunstar.
Alejandre also said that Buendia’s alibi of losing his voice due to stress from his previous gig is unacceptable since he had enough time to prepare for the event.
The politician explained it was unfair for the people who paid for the said concert featuring Ely Buendia as the main act including local bands such as Hale, Parokya ni Edgar, and other artists.
The tickets were sold at P1, 800 for VIP; P1, 000 for Gold, and P500 for General Admission.
On Saturday (March 10, 2018), the frontman of Eraserheads also informed the crowd that he was not feeling well before stepping on the stage.
