The host of the Miss Philippines Earth Italy 2018 has announced the wrong candidate as the grand winner of the beauty pageant.
The Miss Philippines Earth Italy 2018 pageant becomes one of the most controversial topics online after its host mistakenly announced the wrong candidate as the pageant winner.
The beauty pageant held in Rome, Italy last month has been surrounded by issues and controversies due to the Steve Harvey-like moment.
In the video, it can be seen that the host announced Candidate No. 12 as the winner of the pageant.
After a few moments, another staff of the pageant intervened to clarify that Celeste Silvia Cortesi had won the competition.
The scorecards of the judges were also shown to the families of the candidates to prove that there are no irregularities happened.

The epic moments at the Miss Philippines Earth Italy 2018 was similar to the mistake of the international host Steve Harvey announcing Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutiérrez as the winner but later clarified that Miss Philippines pia Wurtzbach won the Miss Universe 2015.
