US-Bangla Plane Crash Incident Recently Happened at Kathmandu Airport
US-BANGLA PLANE – A plane of US-Bangla airlines crashed at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu on Monday afternoon.
Recently, many families were left in great sadness and grief after their loved ones were left dead by a plane crash that happened in Kathmandu. Based on a recent report in Inquirer, the Nepal Police expressed that the incident left not less than 40 people dead.
According to the report, the plane that met an unfortunate circumstance is a plane of US-Bangla Airlines and it took off from Dhaka, Bangladesh. It’s a Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 aircraft that can accommodate 78 people.
The US-Bangla plane was boarded by 71 people and among them are four crew members. Citing the TIA, there were reportedly 37 males, 27 females, and two kids. Among the passengers, there were 33 Nepali nationals.
Based on the report, according to Nepal Police spokesman DIG Manoj Neupane, the US-Bangla plane crashed that left not less than 40 lifeless also left 22 people injured and they are currently being treated at certain hospitals in Kathmandu.
31 were taken from the crashed plane lifeless and nine people took their last breath at the hospitals. With regards to those who are still undergoing treatment, 12 of them were reportedly treated at Kathmandu Medical College Hospital in Sinamangal.
There are four and three people treated at Norvic Hospital in Thapathali and Grande Hospital in Dhapasi respectively. Furthermore, based on the report, there is one person admitted at Om Hospital in Chabahil and another one at Medicity in Bhainsepati.
Citing the statement of TIA spokesman Prem Nath Thakur, the US-Bangla aircraft that crashed reportedly caught fire during its landing and then it crashed onto a football ground near the airport.
Based on the report, the authorities are still looking into the reason behind the “unusual landing” of the US-Bangla plane in Kathmandu airport.
