SUZETTE DOCTOLERO – Film and television screenwriter from GMA Suzette Doctolero revealed the struggles in writing a fantasy story.
Suzette Doctolero is a screenwriter known for her works such as Encantadia 2016 reboot directed by Mark A. Reyes starring Kylie Padilla, Gabbi Garcia, Sanya Lopez, and Glaiza de Castro.
She is also mostly credited as screenwriter, series creator and creative consultant for GMA Network.
Her other iconic works included Amaya, Indio, My Husband’s Lover, Let The Love Begin, Alyas Robin Hood, Destined To Be Yours, The Rich Man’s Daughter, Carmela, Lupin, Bahay Kubo, Let The Love Begin, Lovestruck, and among others.
With these masterpieces crafted and written to perfection by her, it is never a wonder why she had become famous to people.
And lately, the writer has reacted to a post which talks about the newest shows of the Kapamilya network, the Bagani.
She then wrote a post on her Twitter account and revealed the struggle on how to write a fantasy story.
Doctolero has indicated, “Pinakamahirap ang pagsusulat ng fantasy. Bakit? Dahil kailangan mong paniwalain ang audience sa mundong iyong kinatha. Importante na maniwala sila na may ganung mundo. Na may ganung uri ng mga nilikha na may kakaibang kultura at tradisyon. Kailangang maniwala.”

At para maniwala ang manonood, kailangang buong-buo ang konsepto ng pagpapaniwala ng writer. Buo rin dapat ang mundong binubuo, hindi yung masasabi na may binuong kahalintulad o kawangis lang.
