BFP Takes Action on Fire Catching UP Diliman’s Shopping Center
UP DILIMAN – A fire reportedly caught the shopping center at the University of the Philippines.
This morning, fire caught the shopping center at the University of the Philippines. Based on a recent report in Philstar Global, within four years, it is the fourth fire that happened inside the campus.
Citing the report of the Philippine Collegian, 10 fire trucks were deployed to take control of the fire engulfing the property while the cause of the incident is being investigated by the authorities.
According to the report, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) tweeted that the second alarm was raised at around 7:36 in the morning. During that time, the Bureau of Fire Protection was already there to take control of the fire.
