A critical patient died after a private hospital in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental allegedly neglected them for having no money.
A 10-year-old boy in Bacolod City died after Doctors Hospital Incorporated allegedly refused to treat the patient who’s in critical condition that time for having no cash to pay the down payment.
Ma. Fe Sentecera of Purok Sambag, Alijis told Bombo Radyo Bacolod that her grandson Asher Gamilla has been struck by a private vehicle in Camella Homes, Circumferential Road, Barangay Alijis on March 01, 2018.
Asher suffered a wound and injury in the head, which is one of the reasons why they rushed at the Doctors Hospital.
Sentecera revealed that the doctors and hospital staff did not even make any intermediate action to treat the patient, who don’t have the P40, 000 cash for the down payment.
The patient’s grandmother also asked the hospital staff to conduct CT scan for his grandson, but the hospital asked P6, 000 for the procedure.
The critical patient was transferred to Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital for CT scan, but Asher died during the procedure.
