Xavier University Gives Free Night Classes To Less-Fortunate Kids

Xavier University has earned praises from the social media users for giving free night classes to the less-fortunate kids.

The Xavier University in Cagayan de Oro is offering free night classes not only for the street kids but also even adults.

The program gives hope and inspiration to a lot of kids dreaming to pass and enter senior high school.

Xavier Ateneo Night School Program has started accepting student aging 16 to 35 years old since September 2016.

The free night classes start at 6:00 pm up to 8:00 pm four times a week discussing the modules from the Alternative Learning System (ALS) of the Department of Education.

The program has volunteer teachers who were teaching the students Math, English, and General Science preparing them for the test, which will determine if they are qualified to proceed to senior high school.

The night school program has 160 meetings for 10 months before taking the Acceleration and Equivalency (A&E) Test given by DepEd every November.

The program was not only providing academic knowledge but also with sports developments programs and spiritual formation.
