Agnes Tuballes, OFW Joanna Demafelis’ alleged recruiter has voluntarily surrendered to the Philippine National Police (PNP).
The Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) Joanna Demafelis has been the headlines of both local and international news outlets after the news regarding her dead body was found inside the freezer of an abandoned apartment in Kuwait has been reported.
The authorities find out that Demafelis’ body had been inside the free for more than a year based on their investigation.
President Rodrigo Duterte has also banned the deployment of the Filipino workers in Kuwait due to the increasing numbers of abusive employers maltreating our countrymen.
The suspects responsible for the death of the Pinay maid identified as Nader Essam Assaf, a Lebanese man and Mona Hassoun, a Syrian woman have been already arrested and now under the custody of the authorities.
On Thursday (March 01, 2018), Agnes Tuballes, the alleged recruiter of Joanna Demafelis has surrendered herself to the Philippine National Police-Crime Detection and Investigation Group (PNP-CIDG).
The alleged recruiter is currently under the custody of PNP and will be featured in the media sooner or later.
