Filipino People Express Fury To Syrian Suspect Mona Hassoun Over Demafelis’ Death
The Filipino people have expressed their fury towards the Syrian suspect Mona Hassoun over the death of Pinay maid Joanna Demafelis.
Last week, the Lebanese suspect identified as Nader Essam Assaf responsible for the death of the Pinay Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) Joanna Demafelis has been finally arrested by the authorities.
Assaf admitted that he was the one who put the body of the helpless Pinay maid inside the freezer after her wife beat Joanna until she faints.
Recently, the Syrian suspect Mona Hassoun has been finally arrested and now under the custody of the Syrian authorities, according to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
Foreign Affairs secretary Alan Peter Cayetano assured that the suspects responsible for the death of the Pinay domestic helper were now under custody.
A Lebanese official said that the couple was arrested in Damascus during their stopover in Lebanon after leaving Kuwait before heading to Syria.
