Local Officials Chained, Arrest Man Caught Smoking In Public Area, Netizens React
The social media users have reacted on officials who chained and arrested a man caught smoking in the public area wherein smoking is prohibited.
Last year, President Rodrigo Duterte has already approved the smoking ban after signing an executive order prohibiting smoking in public places.
Anyone who will be caught smoking in public places will face corresponding sanctions and penalties appropriate to their violations.
Recently, a Facebook user named Steph Sorongon has uploaded the video of a man who got chained and arrested by local officials after he was caught smoking in a public area.
In the video, it can be seen that the local officials chained the man caught smoking in a public place wherein smoking is not allowed.
Unfortunately, the public authorities are treating the violator like a criminal, which prompted the social media users to express their fury towards the officials.
