Numerous UST Graduates, Students Express Fury Over Government Service Award Bestowed To Mocha Uson
Numerous UST graduates and students have expressed their fury towards the government service award given to PCOO Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson.
Esther Margaux “Mocha” Justiniano Uson, the assistant secretary of Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) has received criticisms over the government service award given by the UST Alumni Association Inc.
The UST Central Student Council (UST-CSC) has opposed the award given to Mocha Uson for allegedly being an avid spreader of fake news.
Aside from the UST-CSC, many Thomasian graduates and UST students have expressed their disappointment and fury over Mocha Uson’s government service award from the UST.
Some of them felt ashamed of being a Thomasian due to the award bestowed by USTAAI to Mocha Uson.
One of the alumni even asked the university’s association what criteria was used in bestowing the award to the PCOO assistant secretary.

Karlo Gino Magno: “UST Alumni Assoc. kadiri kayo. Ito lang yata yong time na kinahiya kong Thomasian ako.”
Jay-jay Abesamis: “ How will the award (to that Mocha), inspire Thomasians to live the Thomasian core values? Should we emulate her in propagating and spreading fake news? I couldn’t believe that we have resorted to licking a–! Are we in dire need of favor that we shallowed al our principles? A public servant who has done norhing but to divide, instead of uniting.. spreading fake news, instead of the truth..! haaayyy naku, truly disgusting!!! “
Anner Cruz: “No basis na pla ang pagbibigay ng award – wala naman palang kwenta – kaya naman pala!”
