Why did Marian Rivera turn down the offer of the Kapuso network?
MARIAN RIVERA – Kapuso actress and television host Marian Rivera revealed the reason why she turned down the offer of her home network GMA-7.
Two of the most prominent Kapuso actor and actress are celebrity couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes. Based on a report, Marian is tagged as the ‘Primetime Queen’ while her husband is the ‘Primetime King’.
The celebrity couple now has a daughter named Letizia or commonly known as Zia or Baby Z.
Based on a recent report in Pep, Marian Rivera is currently having two shows and a television series. She is starring the GMA-7’s TV series Super Ma’am directed by LA Madridejos and she is also the host of the Saturday show Tadhana.
Aside from her TV series and her Saturday show, Marian Rivera is also part of the Sunday show Sunday Pinasaya.
According to the report, Super Ma’am is nearly approaching its finale. Its last episode will be aired on January 26. The Kapuso actress-TV host expressed that during tapings, she does not usually let a double do her scenes.
According to Marian, she is even reminded by her husband Dingdong Dantes to not do the scene if it is risky. She expressed that Dong reminds her that she has a daughter.
“Ako naman kasi pag trabaho, trabaho, one hundred percent ko ang ibinibigay ko,” she said.
Based on the report, Marian Rivera is ready to do “something new” this 2018. She expressed that she is already a mother and a wife and she can now take risks.
“Open na ako gumawa ng mga out-of-the-box na istorya… Mga tipong baliw-baliwan, pumapatay, ganun,” she said.
Meanwhile, according to the Kapuso actress, she will take a rest for six months first after she finishes Super Ma’am. She expressed that GMA-7 offered her a heavy drama project but she will prioritize taking a rest first.
“Paano ako mabubuntis kung taping ako nang taping?” Marian said.
With regards to their time with Zia, the Kapuso actress expressed that she and Dingdong can’t be in one soap opera as no one will be left with their daughter. She expressed that they really fix their schedule.
