The fast-food giant, Jollibee, is owned and managed by Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC).

It was in 1975 when Tony Tan Caktiong and his family opened a Magnolia Ice Cream parlor in Cubao, Quezon City. The ice cream parlor is credited as the first outlet of Jollibee.

Later on, they offered hot meals and sandwiches upon the request of their valued customers. The family found out that it has become more popular than their ice cream.

And in 1978, the Magnolia franchise converted the ice cream parlors into fast food outlets.

Today, Jollibee is considered as one of the biggest fast-food chains in the world.
