Latest Weather Update (Tuesday, December 26, 2017)

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has issued the latest weather update for Tuesday, December 26, 2017.

In an advisory it released earlier, PAGASA noted that a Tail-End of a Cold Front is affecting the Eastern Section of Southern Luzon while the Northeast Monsoon is affecting the Northern and Central Luzon.

Bicol Region, Quezon, Mindoro provinces, Marinduque, Romblon, Northern Samar, and Eastern Samar are expected to have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms caused by the Tail – End of a Cold Front which may result to possible flash floods or landslides due to scattered light to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the province of Aurora will have cloudy skies with scattered rains due to the Northeast Monsoon.

While the rest of Luzon will have a partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Mindanao and rest of Visayas will have Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers caused by the localized thunderstorms

On the other hand, Luzon will have a moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough coastal waters.

While Visayas and Mindanao will have a light to moderate winds with light to moderate coastal waters.
