29-Year-Old Mother Asks Guards To Set Her Free After Caught Shoplifting Shirts For Child
A mother asked the mall security guards to set her free after she was caught shoplifting three shirts for her child at SM San Lazaro.
Nowadays, parents were working hard and do anything just to have enough money to provide the financial needs of their children.
Recently, a shoplifter identified as Samantha Lopez was caught shoplifting three Garfield shirts at the Children’s Wear of SM San Lazaro.
The 29-year-old mother was caught by the security officers outside the mall after she quickly grabbed the shirts and went out of the mall without paying the items at the cashier.
A civilian guard followed the shoplifter outside the mall and asked for the receipt. Unfortunately, Lopez failed to present a receipt prompting the guard to bring her to the security office.
The mall administration found out that the total value of the items shoplifted by Lopez was amounting P1, 649.
The mother pleads the security officers to set her free and not to file complaints against her s she could spend the Christmas with her child.
However, her request was neglected by the officers and she is now paying the price behind bars, as she faces theft charges.
