Barbie Forteza reacted to Maine Mendoza’s open letter.
BABIE FORTEZA – The young Kapuso actress Barbie Forteza reacted on the controversial open letter of fellow artist Maine Mendoza.
According to a previous report, the phenomenal Kapuso star Maine Mendoza has sent an open letter to her fans which has become quite controversial and gone viral.
The open letter’s contents, which was personally penned by the actress, told what she felt that despite her success, she is not happy anymore and she felt like living inside a box and even being controlled on what she should do and say and even what she is supposed to feel.
Thus, with the controversy surrounding the letter, Maine’s fellow Kapuso star Barbie Forteza was asked to share her thoughts on the issue.
The young actress just said, “Parang wala ako sa tamang lugar para mag-comment dyan. Kasi hindi naman ako yung nasa position nya eh. Magkaiba kami ng pinanggalingan, magkaiba kami ng gusto sa buhay, magkaiba kami ng pangarap.”
She further stressed out that she could not relate to the situation because unlike Maine, with regards to her career as an actress specifically, she has been paired with several guys as a love team.
Barbie said, “Hindi ko maihahambing yung sarili ko sa sitwasyon nila kasi sila yung talagang phenomenal eh. Ako naman kasi, parang after one love team, I go to the other guy. Never naman akong na-stuck sa isang love team so hindi ko alam yung feeling na ganun, yung masasakal sa isang love team.”
She also sympathizes with fans of AlDub but she believed that the two, being phenomenal that they are, have already proven enough as a tandem, and probably, it is time for them to live the career that they wanted.
