JASMINE CURTIS-SMITH – The beautiful actress and Anne Curtis’ younger sister, Jasmine Curtis -Smith shared what happened upon witnessing a snatching incident while she’s stuck in traffic.
Jasmine Casandra Ojales Curtis-Smith or simply known on television screens as Jasmine Curtis-Smith is a Filipino actress known for her internationally acclaimed performances in independent films she makes.
She is the sister of Anne Curtis but despite the influence of her sister in the entertainment industry, she was able to work for herself and for her career which made her the actress that she is now.
Jasmine has been famous for her performance in Transit, where she played Yael, an Israeli-Filipino child of an Overseas Filipino who faces deportation.
The Transit has received wide critical acclaim, competing at the 18th Busan International Film Festival, receiving 10 awards at the 9th Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival, and eventually became the Philippines’ entry to the 86th Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film.
Her portrayal made her gain Best Supporting Actress award.
She appeared to several shows and independent to which some include Puti, Dementia, Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo, Halik Sa Hangin, Resureksyon, Imagine You And Me, Baka Bukas, I’m Drunk I Love You, Ag Utol Kong Hoodlum, Nandito Ako, Undercover, My Fair Lady, and a lot more.
And lately, just several minutes after stepping foot in the Philippines, she shared on her Twitter account that she had just witnessed a snatching incident while she got stuck a traffic jam
In one of her posts on her Twitter account is where she indicated, “Arrived in Manila 30 mins ago, I’m going down the Magallanes exit of the skyway. Stuck in traffic, I’m looking around and observing life.. then I see a dude jump up to snatch a guy’s earphones from a bus. Unsuccessful with his attempt, he runs and jumps over the barrier 1/2.”
