RACHEL PETERS – The representative of the Philippines in Miss Universe 2017 Rachel Peters posts statement after failure to bag a place in the competition.
The most prestigious pageant held every year, the Miss Universe, gathering all the gorgeous woman coming from the different parts of the world has just happened.
And in this year’s competition, the South Africa’s bet Demi-Leigh Nel Peters was the newly hailed queen of the universe as she successes the crown from Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere from France.
Meanwhile, among the crowd’s favorite is Rachel Peters as she represents the country.
At the initial list of the finalists, the Top 16, she was able to be included which went on until the Top 10.
However, unfortunately, Rachel was not able to reach the top five finalists and more on the top three.
A lot of her supporters may have been disappointed with the results but a lot has also accepted it as well for even before, Rachel was already a winner for them.
As the beauty queen’s journey ended at the Top 10, she expressed this on her Twitter account, “I did my best but I guess my best wasn’t good enough. Thank you fellow countrymen. I love #Philippines!”
