LTO Revokes Pinay Ex-Beauty Queen Maria Isabel Lopez’s Driver’s License

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has revoked Maria Isabel Lopez’s driver’s license over for breaching the ASEAN lane.

On Monday (November 27, 2017), Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) spokesperson Celine Pialago said that the LTO has revoked the driver’s license of the former beauty queen Maria Isabel Lopez.

MMDA recommended to the LTO to cancel the license of the Filipina celebrity for breaching the lane reserved for the foreign delegates who attended the 31st Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit earlier this month.

LTO Law Enforcement Director Francis Ray Almora also confirmed the cancellation of Lopez’s license through a resolution.

The 55-year-old celebrity is now prohibited to reapply or to re-acquire a driver’s license for the next two years.

She was also charged to pay fines with a total amount of P8, 000. P5, 000 for violating the Anti-Distracted Driving Act and P3, 000 for disregarding traffic signs and reckless driving.
