Arjo Atayde Defends Sylvia Sanchez On Issues About Her Eldest Daughter
ARJO ATAYDE – Kapamilya actor Arjo Atayde defended his mother Sylvia Sanchez from netizens who were dismayed about her recent revelation.
Reportedly, veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez recently revealed that Arjo Atayde is not her eldest child. Many people were surprised as Arjo, her son with husband Art Atayde, is known to be the eldest of the veteran actress.
Sylvia Sanchez’s eldest daughter is Pia. Previously, Arjo Atayde expressed that his maternal half-sister is not in their family photos as she decided to live with her father rather than be with them.
Nevertheless, the young actor stressed that she will always be his sister.
Based on a recent report in Pep, in an interview with Pep and Cinema News during the press conference of Hanggang Saan, Sylvia Sanchez’s son Arjo Atayde defended her from netizens who expressed dismay over her recent revelation about her firstborn.
According to Arjo, Sylvia is his mother and he will protect her. He stressed that his mom did not “mean anything wrong” and she was just not so vocal about his maternal half-sister. The actor also stressed the choice of Pia.
“My mom did not do anything wrong. That’s the personal choice of my sister,” he said.
Based on the report, Arjo Atayde also expressed that his mother Sylvia Sanchez never denied her eldest daughter and her name is always mentioned whenever the actress receives an award.
According to him, his sister chose “to have another life” and “to be with other people”.
Arjo Atayde and his mother will soon be seen together on screen. Based on a report, they are set to star the upcoming ABS-CBN soap opera Hanggang Saan.
The veteran actress admitted that she feels pressured into working with her son. Nevertheless, according to her, after working on the story’s flow, they knew that the people will accept it.
