Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre Orders NBI To Form Task Force To Investigate DAP, PDAF, Case Against Aquino Admin

Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II has ordered the NBI to form a task force that will investigate DAP, PDAF, and the case against Aquino administration.

On Thursday (November 23, 2017), Vitaliano Aguirre, the secretary of justice has issued the department order no. 749, which orders the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to investigate the charges filed by Coalition for Investigation and Prosecution Rep. By Greco Belgica against former President Benigno Aquino III and others for malversation.

The lawyer also released the department order no. 751, asking the NBI to conduct an investigation with Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP) anomalies.

Aguirre wants NBI to form a task force for the re-opening of investigation as the Department of Justice (DOJ) will take a look at the new evidence discovered and presented to them.

The Justice Secretary also issued the department order no. 752 urging the investigation bureau to form a task force for the probe of Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) anomalies as the justice department will study the evidence collected.

The special task force assigned by NBI was ordered to submit periodic reports to the undersigned through Undersecretary Antonio T. Kho Jr.

The orders will be immediately effective and should remain in force until further order.
