Senator Manny Pacquiao Finally Reacts On PCOO Asec. Mocha Uson’s Possible Candidacy In 2019
Senator Manny Pacquiao has reacted on PCOO Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson’s reported possible candidacy for senatorial race in 2019.
Previously, House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez has announced the inclusion of Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson on PDP-Laban party’s senatorial slate together with presidential spokesperson Harry Roque.
Recently, the Filipino boxing icon and now Senator Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao has finally breaks his silence on Mocha Uson’s possible candidacy in 2019.
The lawmaker has expressed his support towards Mocha and said that she is qualified to be a candidate for the senatorial race in 2019 because of her sincerity in serving the country.
“I cannot judge. Hindi ako puwedeng manghusga ng isang tao. Matalino naman ‘yan. May pinag-aralan iyong tao, huwag natin siyang i-judge at gusto niyang magserbiyso sa bayan. Sa tingin ko, kung buong puso, taos-puso mag-serbiyso eh. Makakatulong namin. Importante kasi totoo, hindi iyong plastic,” Pacquiao said quoted by GMA.
Pacquaio said that the Filipino people will decide who they will vote in the 2019 senatorial elections.
However, Mocha Uson previously said that she has still no political intentions and plan to run for senatorial race. The PCOO Asec. also explained that she will only accept the offer if President Duterte will told her to do so.
Pacman also proposed the inclusion of Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa on the PNP-Laban party because of his sincerity in serving the country.
