Alina Mansur, a 26-year-old Management and Business Administration graduate from Florida International University is the official candidate of Aruba in Miss Universe 2017.
But aside from her excellence in the field of pageantry, she also made a name for herself in the world of sports particularly; Equitation, the art or practice of horse riding or horsemanship.
She has competed in different competitions locally and around the world and has won awards. One of the most notable awards received by Aruba-based beauty queen is her God award as “Amazona” in the “Mundial del Jinete y Amazona 2014”.
Besides horse riding, she also enjoys reading books and cooking.
Alina Mansur is also a Carnavalista. In fact, in 2005, she was chosen as Aruba’s Youth Carnaval Queen. She was also picked as Carnaval Queen of Aruba in 2009 and in 2010, she was honored to be the International Carnaval Queen.
Alina spends most of her quality time with animals. She’s also a volunteer at different organizations helping animals in need.
