Tropical Depression ‘Tino’ Signals & Hourly Updates (November 17, 2017)

The Low Pressure Area spotted Southeast of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan has intensified into Tropical Depression and was named Tino.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), Tropical Depression Tino has a maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph and is forecast to move West Northwest at 28 kph.

Tropical Depression Tino was last seen at  245 km East Southeast of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan (09.0 °N, 120.8 °E).

Tino is expected to make landfall tonight (Nov. 17) in Southern Palawan between 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal #1 has been raised in Palawan.

PAGASA warned the residents in MIMAROPA, Bicol region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga and Panay Island Luzon for possible flashfloods and landslides.

Tropical Depression Tino is expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Saturday morning (November 18, 2017).
